Such a wonderful lightweight moisturizer for any time of the year! I usually avoid using creamy moisturizers in warmer weather months due to oil production. My first purchase from Blue Beautifly was the Chamomile Night Serum after watching Sarah rave about it on her youtube channel (Holistichabits). That stuff is the real deal! It smells so relaxing. My first time using it my skin did not react very well to it (I reacted to the chamomile or lavender, my skin is very sensitive), and I had contacted the company in hopes to either return it for a different oil or figure out whether I should stick with it for a while and see if it got better. Wanted to use half the bottle before posting a review. I heard about Blue Beautifly through holistic habits. I really wanted to love this moisturizer but it caused small bumps on my forehead and I felt like it sat on my skin and made it soft rather than really getting absorbed. I also tried this moisturizer on and then put foundation but it didn’t sit that great and my skin still looked dry- a problem I never had before with my foundation. Coming from a history of hormonal and food sensitivity acne, this moisturizer has been awesome. I cleared my acne about 99% through diet and lifestyle change but having supporting skin products is essential. I’ve been using an oil for my moisturizer but had a feel the coconut oil within it may have still been clogging my pores a little. I have been using this serum for 4 weeks now and I absolutely love it! The smell is so calming and soothing and my face loves it too. You just need a few drops and pat on, sometimes if I want to extra moisturize I’ll do 5-7 drops and let is soak up deep into my skin.
